1. Broad-spectrum fungicide:Azoxystrobin has excellent control effects against diseases caused by four major pathogenic fungi: Ascomycetes (such as powdery mildew, rust, and scab); Basidiomycetes (such as sheath blight and damping-off); Deuteromycetes (such as leaf spot, anthracnose, and wilt); and Oomycetes (such as downy mildew, late blight, and blight).
2. Excellent systemic absorption and translocation: Azoxystrobin is rapidly absorbed by plant roots, stems, and leaves, and is translaminar (apically) and translaminar (laterally) within the plant. This means that after spraying, the agent can reach areas not directly affected and also protect newly emerging leaves.
3. Multiple effects:Protective effect: When applied before pathogen infection, it prevents spore germination and hyphae invasion.Cure effect: When applied after infection but before symptoms appear, it kills established hyphae.Eradication effect: It has a limited inhibitory and eradication effect on existing lesions.
4. Greening Effect:This is a particularly prominent advantage of azoxystrobin. By inhibiting plant respiration, it induces a mild stress state in plants. This, in turn, reduces ethylene production, delays plant aging, and results in greener leaves and a longer functional life. It also improves water use efficiency and enhances crop resistance to adverse conditions such as drought and low temperatures. Ultimately, this results in fuller grains, resulting in increased yield and quality.
Product Details
Azoxystrobin is a milestone product in the agrochemical industry. A strobilurin fungicide, it inhibits the cytochrome bc1 complex (a key link in the electron transport chain) in the pathogen's mitochondria, blocking energy synthesis and thus causing the pathogen to die of "starvation." It boasts a broad spectrum, high efficacy, strong systemic activity, and a long-lasting effect. It simultaneously protects, treats, and eradicates pests, and can enhance crop resistance, resulting in health benefits and increased yields.
Applicable Crop:
1. Field Crops
Rice: Primarily used to control sheath blight, also effective against blast and false smut.
Wheat: Controls powdery mildew, rusts (stripe rust, leaf rust, stem rust), leaf blight, and glumes.
Corn: Controls large leaf spot, small leaf spot, rust, and gray leaf spot.
Peanuts: Controls leaf spot, rust, and net blight.
Potatoes: Controls early blight and late blight.
2. Vegetable Crops
Melons (cucumbers, watermelons, and cantaloupes): Controls downy mildew, powdery mildew, and anthracnose.
Solanars (tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant): Controls early blight, late blight, leaf mold, and powdery mildew.
Leafy Vegetables: Controls downy mildew, among others.
Legumes (beans and cowpeas): Controls rust and powdery mildew.
3. Fruit Crops
Grapes: Controls downy mildew, powdery mildew, and black pox. Citrus: Control scab and anthracnose.
Apples and pears: Control leaf spot, ring rot, scab, and powdery mildew.
Banana: Control leaf spot.
