1. Unique mechanism of action: It primarily acts on the insect nervous system.
2. Highly effective against piercing-sucking pests: It has excellent control effectiveness against piercing-sucking pests such as aphids (cotton aphid, peach aphid, cabbage aphid, wheat aphid, and others), whiteflies (bemisia tabaci, greenhouse whitefly), leafhoppers, and psyllids. It is also effective against some scale insects and thrips.
3. Strong systemic transport: It is rapidly absorbed by plant roots, stems, and leaves and transported upward (apically) within the plant to new tissues and the undersides of leaves, where pests infest the plant. It is also effective against pests harboring on the undersides of leaves or on young leaves (such as whitefly nymphs and aphids).
4. Long-lasting effect: When used correctly, the control effect against target pests typically lasts for 7-14 days, or even longer, reducing the number of applications.
Product Details
Flonicamid is a pyridine amide insecticide with contact and stomach poison effects. After ingesting the insecticide, pests quickly stop feeding and eventually die from starvation. It is used to control rice planthoppers, cotton aphids, and melon whiteflies.
