Product Performance:
Iprodione affects mitogen-activated protein histidine kinase activity involved in osmotic signal transduction; it offers both protective and curative effects by inhibiting spore germination and mycelial growth. It can be used to control crown rot in harvested bananas.
Technical Requirements for Use:
1. Harvest bananas at 80%–85% maturity; discard fruit with mechanical damage or scarring and wash dust off the banana fingers. On the day of harvest, soak the fruit for 1–2 minutes, allow to air-dry, and store at ambient temperature. 2. Bananas treated with this product must be stored for at least 4 days before being marketed; apply no more than once per batch.

Precautions:
1) Do not mix this product with alkaline substances. 2) Take appropriate safety precautions during use: wear protective clothing, gloves, and a mask to avoid skin contact and inhalation. Do not smoke, drink, or eat while using the product. After use, promptly wash exposed skin (hands, face, etc.) with plenty of soap and water and change clothes. 3) Apply away from aquaculture areas and bodies of water such as rivers and ponds; do not wash application equipment in such waters, and do not discharge waste solution into them. 4) Properly dispose of used packaging; do not reuse or discard it indiscriminately. 5) Keep out of reach of children, pregnant women, and nursing mothers.
