Product Performance:
Prochloraz is an imidazole fungicide that acts by inhibiting sterol biosynthesis; it is effective against various crop diseases caused by Ascomycetes and Deuteromycetes. It is used to control banana anthracnose and citrus (fruit) anthracnose.
Application Instructions:
1. To control banana anthracnose, apply via fruit dipping after harvest. Harvest bananas at 80% maturity; on the day of harvest, dip the fruit in the solution at ambient temperature for 1–2 minutes. After removal and air-drying, seal each small hand of bananas individually in 0.04 mm polyethylene film (fresh-keeping bags) and store at ambient temperature. The storage area should be clean, tidy, cool, and well-ventilated.
2. To control citrus (fruit) anthracnose, apply via fruit dipping after harvest. On the day of harvest, dip the fruit in the solution for 1 minute, remove and air-dry, then package individual fruits in fresh-keeping bags and store at ambient temperature. The storage area should be clean, tidy, cool, and well-ventilated.
3. During the dipping process, continuously stir the solution to ensure uniform distribution and full contact with the fruit.
4. The pre-harvest interval (PHI) is 7 days for bananas and 14 days for citrus (fruit); apply no more than once.
