Active Ingredients and Content:
Desmedipham 71 g/L; Phenmedipham 91 g/L; Ethofumesate 112 g/L
Product Characteristics:
This product is a selective post-emergence herbicide for sugar beet crops, effective in controlling annual broad-leaved weeds in sugar beet fields.
Scope of Application and Application Method:
1. Apply this product no more than once per season.
2. The optimal application timing is after sugar beet emergence, when broad-leaved weeds are at the 2–4 leaf stage; apply via conventional foliar spray.
3. Dilute with clean water at a rate of 30–40 liters per mu; adjust the spray volume based on climatic conditions (e.g., increase the volume appropriately during drought).
Crop / Site | Target Pest | Dosage (Formulation Rate / Mu) | Application Method |
|---|---|---|---|
Sugar‑beet Field | Annual Broad‑leaved Weeds | 300‑350 mL/mu | Foliar Spraying |
Precautions:
1. Do not mix with acidic or alkaline pesticides during application to avoid hydrolysis, which could compromise efficacy. Efficacy is reduced during drought or when weeds are at a more advanced growth stage; therefore, apply as early as possible after crop emergence. Symptoms of contact phytotoxicity may appear after application but generally resolve within 14 days without affecting crop growth. 2. Wear protective gear—including long-sleeved shirts, long trousers, boots, a hat, goggles, a mask, and gloves—during use. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while applying the product. Wash hands and face, and launder the clothing worn during application, immediately after the task is completed. 3. Be cautious when applying to fields with potential herbicide carryover from previous crops (e.g., fields where persistent herbicides like atrazine or fomesafen were used on corn or soybeans). 4. Application should be tailored to actual field conditions; exercise caution during extreme weather (e.g., low temperatures, high temperatures, or strong winds). For plastic-mulched sugar beet crops, consider the risks of elevated soil and near-surface temperatures under the film and apply with caution; also exercise caution in fields with weak or diseased seedlings. Consult local agricultural technical departments or company technicians. Reduce the dosage appropriately if applying before the sugar beet reaches the 4–6 leaf stage. 5. Do not use in areas where natural enemies such as *Trichogramma* wasps have been released, or on flowering plants during their blooming period. 6. Avoid pouring leftover spray solution into rivers or ponds after application. Do not wash application equipment in bodies of water such as rivers or ponds. Properly dispose of used containers and waste materials; do not discard them indiscriminately or use them for other purposes. 7. Pregnant and lactating women are prohibited from handling this product.
