Acetamiprid is a new type of pyridine insecticide that has disinfection, contact killing and strong penetration effects, and shows rapid insecticidal power with a long residual effect. It is also an insecticide with certain acaricidal activity, and its mode of action is a systemic insecticide for soil and branches and leaves. It is widely used in the prevention and control of aphids, planthoppers, thrips, and some lepidopteran pests in rice, especially vegetables, fruit trees, and tea.

Product features:

  1. Target pests: Piercing-sucking pests (aphids, whiteflies, thrips, etc.) Special effects
  2. Speed of action: 30 minutes to stop feeding, 1 hour to knock down, 24 hours to reach the peak of dead insects
  3. Systemicity: Strong bidirectional conduction, killing hidden pests
  4. Temperature characteristics: Enhanced activity at high temperatures (20~30℃ is best)
  5. Resistance management: No cross-resistance with old agents, but scientific rotation is required

Acetamiprid uses: 

It belongs to the same series as imidacloprid, but its insecticidal spectrum is broader than that of imidacloprid. It is mainly effective against aphids on cucumbers, apples, citrus fruits, and tobacco. Due to its unique mechanism of action, acetamiprid is also effective against pests that have developed resistance to organophosphates, carbamates, and pyrethroids.

Precautions: 

  1. Because this agent is toxic to silkworms, do not spray it on mulberry leaves if there is a mulberry orchard nearby.
  2. Acetamiprid should not be mixed with strong alkaline agents (Bordeaux mixture, lime sulfur, etc.).
  3. Acetamiprid has low toxicity to humans and animals, but in case of accidental ingestion, seek immediate medical attention for gastric lavage and remain calm.
