Relative Molecular Mass: 191.13, 161.09, 161.09
Main Formulations
98% Sodium Nitrophenolate Technical Grade; 0.7%, 1.4%, and 1.8% Sodium Nitrophenolate Aqueous Solutions;
Physicochemical Properties
Sodium Nitrophenolate is a mixture of sodium 5-nitroguaiacolate, sodium *o*-nitrophenolate, and sodium *p*-nitrophenolate. Its appearance is a crystalline mixture consisting of red flakes, deep red needles, and yellow crystals. It is readily soluble in water and soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, methanol, and acetone. It remains stable at room temperature and possesses a characteristic phenolic aromatic odor. It exhibits stable performance and is compatible for tank-mixing with general pesticides.
Toxicity: Low toxicity.

Functions and Features

Sodium Nitrophenolate rapidly penetrates into plant tissues, promoting the flow of intracellular protoplasm as well as cell division and proliferation. It facilitates the synthesis of chlorophyll and proteins, breaks seed dormancy, and promotes germination and root development. Furthermore, it stimulates flower bud formation, induces earlier flowering, increases fruit weight, prevents flower and fruit drop, boosts crop yields, and improves the quality of agricultural produce. As a broad-spectrum plant growth regulator, Sodium Nitrophenolate demonstrates outstanding efficacy across a wide range of crops, including grain crops (such as rice, wheat, legumes, and maize); oil crops (such as rapeseed and sesame); cotton; leafy vegetables; cruciferous vegetables; fruiting vegetables (such as tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, watermelons, and melons); and fruit trees (such as citrus, apples, lychees, bananas, longans, mangoes, and pineapples).

Precautions

① Excessive concentrations may inhibit the growth of crop sprouts and overall plant development.
② For enhanced efficacy, it may be tank-mixed with pesticides and fertilizers. ③ Discontinue use on tobacco leaves 30 days prior to harvest.
④ Store in a cool place.
