Product Details
Sodium naphthalene-1-acetate is a plant growth regulator formulated from a cell activator and a plant growth regulator. It can quickly penetrate into the body of plants, promote the flow of protoplasm of cells, and dredge the ducts. It has the characteristics of improving cell vitality, promoting plant rooting, flowering, preventing flower drop and fruit drop, and increasing yield.
The three main functions of Sodium Naphthalene-1-acetate (NAA-NA):
(I) NAA-NA promotes the formation of adventitious roots and root development, thus it can be used to promote seed germination and rooting of cuttings. However, excessive concentrations can inhibit root growth.
(II) NAA-NA promotes fruit enlargement and the enlargement of tubers and rhizomes, therefore it can be used as a growth stimulant. Field trials have shown that it can significantly increase yield and improve quality in kiwifruit, grapes, watermelons, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, pears, and apples. It also promotes rapid cell enlargement, resulting in remarkable growth changes in treated solanaceous fruits. The effect is particularly significant in mushrooms, without compromising fruit quality.
(III) NAA-NA has an anti-dropping function, preventing flower and fruit drop. In addition, sodium naphthalene acetate also possesses the functions of general auxins, such as promoting growth, promoting chlorophyll synthesis, and promoting bud and flower bud differentiation. Therefore, sodium naphthalene acetate promotes flowering and fruit setting, promotes lush foliage, increases yield, improves quality, and enhances the drought resistance, cold resistance, and lodging resistance of crops.
