Product Characteristics:
This product is a mixture of diethyl aminoethyl hexanoate and mepiquat chloride. It is used to regulate soybean growth and increase yield; for cotton, it regulates growth by inhibiting plant height, improving plant architecture, enhancing lodging resistance, and increasing the lint turnout of cotton bolls.
Application techniques for DA-6 + Mepiquat chloride in agriculture
Soybean
Spray with a 140–230 mg/L solution during the branching stage (early flowering stage). This regulates growth and development, controls excessive vegetative growth, reduces plant height, increases the number of root nodules, promotes robust root systems and thick stems, prevents lodging, increases pod and seed counts and seed weight, boosts yield, enhances seed protein and amino acid content, improves quality, and strengthens stress and disease resistance.
Cotton
Spray with a 90 mg/L solution during the seedling stage to protect roots and strengthen seedlings, shape the plant, and enhance drought and waterlogging resistance. Spray with a 140 mg/L solution during the early flowering stage to inhibit excessive vegetative growth, shape the plant ideally, delay canopy closure, and increase the number of high-quality bolls. It simplifies mid-season pruning, promotes early and abundant boll setting, and prevents bud and boll shedding. Spray with a 140 mg/L solution during the peak flowering stage to inhibit the growth of unproductive branches, buds, and suckers in the late season; this prevents late-season overgrowth (delayed maturity) and increases early-autumn boll retention, boll weight, and early maturity.
Precautions
① Strictly prohibited from mixing with alkaline pesticides; can be mixed with neutral or acidic pesticides and foliar fertilizers.
② Higher dosages are more effective for crops with good water and fertilizer conditions and vigorous growth; reduce the dosage for plots with nutrient deficiencies, drought, or weak growth.
③ Spray during clear, windless weather; if it rains within 6 hours of application, a follow-up spray at half the dosage may be applied.
④ Conduct small-scale trials and demonstrations before large-scale promotion of this product. ⑤ Store in plastic or ceramic containers; keep tightly sealed in a cool place and do not store together with food.
⑥ During use, avoid splashing the undiluted product into the eyes or allowing it to come into contact with the skin.
