Product Details

Thidiazuron is a plant growth regulator with cell division activity. It can induce plant cell division and callus tissue with higher ability than general cytokinins. It can be absorbed by the stems and leaves of plants, promote the formation of abscission layer between petioles and stems, and thus promote the shedding of mature leaves. At higher concentrations, it can stimulate ethylene production, promote the activity of pectin and cellulase, accelerate cotton boll opening, defoliate cotton, and promote cotton yield increase; it can delay plant aging, enhance its stress resistance, and promote plant photosynthesis. It can improve pollen fertilization, promote fruit setting, accelerate the growth of young fruits, expand fruits, and increase yields.
