Prohexadione-calcium can also be used together with potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KH₂PO₄) as part of a crop management program.
Compared with combinations containing stronger growth regulators, the growth-controlling effect of this combination is more moderate. It may be considered when growers want to control excessive vegetative growth while supporting flowering, fruit set, and fruit development.
However, long-term or repeated use should not be carried out simply as a routine practice. The application should be adjusted according to the crop's growth condition and the requirements of the specific product.
