Broad Bean Growth Regulation & Yield
Application of Regulators for Broad Bean Growth and Yield
2,4-D
At the branching stage of broad bean (35~42d after sowing), spraying 20mg/L2,4-D can significantly inhibit the plant height, and the height of the plant at maturity is 20~33cm lower than that of the control plant.
4-Iodophenoxyacetic acid
According to relevant unit tests, spraying 15-20 mg/L 4-Iodophenoxyacetic acid
in the full blooming period of broad bean can increase the yield by 18%-59%.
Spraying with 0.5mg/L triacontanol at the flowering stage or the first pod stage can increase the yield by 10.5% to 26.3%.
Sodium Nitrophenolate
Use 6-9mg/L of sodium nitrophenolate to spray once in broad bean seedling stage, full bloom stage and pod setting stage to strengthen seedlings and increase production.
When broad bean was sprayed with 10 mg/L gibberellic acid at the early flowering stage, the average number of pods and grains per plant increased by 1.6 pods and 3.3 grains compared with the control, and the yield increased by 20%, which was significantly higher than that of the control.
paclobutrazol
Before the emergence of the seedlings to the flowering and fruiting stage, 80-160 mg/L paclobutrazol is sprayed evenly once, which can effectively inhibit the growth of the plants, promote the tillering of fruit branches, enhance the resistance to stress, and cultivate strong seedlings; spray 200-300 mg from the early flowering stage to the full flowering stage of broad bean /L paclobutrazol, the yield was significantly improved. According to relevant unit tests, spraying paclobutrazol can increase yield by 18.5%. After spraying, plant height is generally reduced by about 15cm, branches are increased by 21.2%, and the number of pods per plant is increased by 12.6%.
