Promoting hawthorn root growth
Application of regulators to promote hawthorn root growth
Naphthalene acetic acid NAA
Before hawthorn planting, soaking the roots with 10mg/L naphthalene acetic acid for 12h can promote the root growth of hawthorn seedlings, the number of roots increases by 53.6% compared with the control, and the survival rate is increased by 10% to 15% compared with the control.
4-indol-3-ylbutyric acid IBA
Select disease-free hawthorn cuttings with good quality, moderate size, robust growth, and no buds, soak the base of the cuttings with indole butyric acid 50mg/L for 3 hours, and then bury them in soil with moderate humidity to promote rooting. The rooting effect is remarkable.
Note: To strictly control the concentration of indole butyric acid, if the concentration is increased to 80mg/L, the rooting rate will decrease.
