Ethephon

In the early stage of flower spikes, the terminal buds of longan flowers in spring just started to germinate, and when the buds became soft, spraying 233-300mgL ethephon + 90mg/L paclobutrazol had the best effect on preventing the spikes and promoting the formation of flower spikes.(Note: Longan uses ethephon with special care, its reaction to ethylene is more sensitive than lychee, and the concentration should be flexibly controlled according to tree vigor and climatic conditions. Too high a concentration will cause a large number of old leaves and flowers to fall off.).
