Application of Regulators in Melon Seed Germination and Early Growth
Using the melon variety "Japanese sweet treasure" as the test material, different concentrations of 6-BA (20 mg/L, 40 mg/L, 80 mg/L) were used to soak the seeds of "Japanese sweet treasure".The results showed that soaking seeds with 20 mg/L benzylamino for 6 h had the most obvious effect on promoting the germination of melon seeds.It can achieve the effect of improving the germination rate and rapid emergence. At the same time, foliar spray treatment with 30-50 mg/L benzylaminopurine in the seedling stage can affect the growth of melon root system, inhibit the stem thickness and root length of the seedlings, but can enhance the POD activity and improve the stress resistance of the seedlings.
Soaking seeds with 10 mg/L gibberellic acid for 6 hours can achieve the effect of improving germination rate and rapid emergence. The high concentration (40-100 mg/L) treatment obviously promoted the growth of seedlings, and had the strongest effect on the morphogenesis of melon seedlings.
Diethyl aminoethyl hexanoate
Under continuous cropping stress, the activities of peroxidase and superoxide dismutase in leaves of melon seedlings were significantly reduced.After spraying with 8 mg/L diethyl aminoethyl hexanoate, the activation of POD and SOD was significantly increased.At the same time, the content of MDA in the leaves of melon seedlings under continuous cropping stress increased significantly.Compared with continuous cropping stress, diethyl aminoethyl hexanoate can promote the leaf area, fresh weight and dry weight of seedlings, improve photosynthetic rate and protect enzyme activity, and can effectively alleviate the growth obstacles of continuous cropping of melon in seedling stage.
