After testing, spraying 50mg/L indigo ester when most watermelons weighed about 500g can significantly reduce the acidity of watermelon by about 40%; at the same time, the content of vitamin C increased by 10%; the total sugar increased by 10% to 13%. Among them, the increase of non-reducing sugar was significant. The increase of non-reducing sugar of "Guangxi No. 2" and "Heimi No. 2" watermelon reached 54.7% and 25.8%, respectively.
