Gibberellic acid

The germination rate of watermelon seeds can be improved by using gibberellic acid solution of appropriate concentration to pregerminate watermelon seeds, but the effect of gibberellic acid at 50～150mg/L is better. The germination rate of "Jingxin No. 2" seeds treated with 100mg/L gibberellic acid was the highest, which was 94%; the germination rate of "Jinlongbao" was the highest with 150mg/L gibberellic acid, which was 84.67%; the concentration of 50mg /L gibberellic acid has the highest germination rate for "Xinhongbao", which is 94.67%; 50mg/L gibberellic acid has the highest germination rate for "Golden Dragon", which is 72.67%; 150mg/L gibberellic acid has the highest germination rate on "Disease-resistant Su honey" had the highest germination rate of 81.33%.

Triacontanol

Seed soaking with 0.5mg/L triacontanol for 6h can improve the germination rate.
