Spraying a solution of 0.02–0.04 mg/L—90–120 days after planting for spring-planted bananas, or 150–210 days after planting for summer/autumn-planted bananas—promotes early and rapid plant growth. This fosters the development of plants with large leaves and thick pseudostems, facilitating efficient assimilation and the accumulation of abundant photosynthetic products, thereby laying the material foundation for flowering.

Uniformly spraying the entire plant with a 30–40 mg/L DCPTA solution during the budding and post-de-budding stages results in higher fruit set, uniform fruit clusters, increased yields, earlier maturity, and improved quality.
