Promote root growth in kiwifruit
Application of regulators to promote root growth in kiwifruit
Indole Acetic Acid (IAA)
Select one- or two-year-old branches with lush growth and no pests and diseases as cuttings, cut the collected branches into oblique incisions of about 15 cm, and immerse the cuttings in 200 mgL indole acetic acid solution for 1 hour. Inserted into the substrate, it can promote the rooting of cuttings and improve the survival rate of cuttings.
3-Indolebutyric Acid (IBA) The green shoots were treated with 1500mg/L 3-indolebutyric acid rapid dipping method (soaking for 1min), and then the stems were inserted into the sandy soil seedbed for cultivation, which could significantly increase the rooting rate of cuttings.
Naphthalene acetic acid (NAA)
The annual semi-lignified shoots of Actinidia chinensis were selected, and 1-2 leaves were appropriately left. The base of the cuttings was immersed in a 400 mg/L naphthalene acetic acid aqueous solution for 24 hours. The rooting rate and survival rate reached 84.61% and 84.61%, respectively. 75%, significantly higher than that without naphthalene acetic acid.
Precautions: low concentration of naphthalene acetic acid can promote rooting, and high concentration can inhibit rooting, so it is necessary to master the appropriate concentration: The upper end of the twig cuttings should be sealed with wax to reduce water evaporation and improve the survival rate.
