Spraying rose plants with ethephon extends the flowering period and significantly increases flower yield. Repeated spraying with 400 mg/L ethephon at the onset of leaf unfolding and during the peak leaf-unfolding stage can extend the total flowering period by 6 days.
Gibberellic Acid GA3
Spraying the entire plant with 100 mg/L gibberellic acid during the leaf-unfolding stage can advance flowering by approximately 6 days, although the flowering duration may be shortened.
