Acephate is a systemic insecticide that exerts its insecticidal effects by inhibiting the activity of acetylcholinesterase in pests. It has stomach poison, contact kill, fumigation, and ovicidal properties, with a limited fumigation effect. It is a slow-acting insecticide. Its initial effects are slow after application, but become noticeable 2-3 days later, with a strong aftereffect. It is suitable for use on crops such as vegetables, tea, tobacco, fruit trees, cotton, rice, wheat, and rapeseed, controlling a variety of chewing and piercing-sucking pests and mites.

CAS NO.: 30560-19-1

Dosage: 97%TC,97%WSG, 75%SP, 300G/L EC

Product features:

  • Strong systemic action: This is its core feature. The pesticide can be absorbed by the roots, stems, and leaves of plants and transported to all parts of the plant (including areas not directly sprayed), effectively controlling pests that hide on the undersides of leaves, within leaf curls, or borers (such as the rice leaf roller).
  • Dual mode of action: A stomach poison and contact kill, combining a broad insecticide spectrum and more thorough results.
  • Broad spectrum: It effectively controls a wide range of pests, including piercing-sucking pests (such as aphids, planthoppers, leafhoppers, and thrips), chewing pests (such as cabbage worms, diamondback moths, and rice leaf rollers), and some borers.
  • Relatively low toxicity: The original pesticide is moderately toxic, while the formulation is low-toxic, making it relatively safe for users. This is one of the reasons why it has become an alternative to some highly toxic pesticides.

Applicable Crops:

Food Crops: Rice, wheat, corn, etc.

Vegetables: Cruciferous vegetables (such as cabbage, kale, radish), cucumber, tomato, eggplant, etc.

Cash Crops: Cotton, tobacco, fruit trees (such as apples, pears, citrus), tea, etc.

Pests Controlled:

Piercing-sucking pests: Aphids, leafhoppers, planthoppers, whiteflies, thrips, etc.

Chewing pests: Pieris rapae, rice leaf roller, diamondback moth, cotton bollworm, tobacco budworm, geometrid, etc.

Leaf-boring and leaf-boring pests: Effective against some leaf-boring pests, but application should be done before the larvae develop boreholes.
