Diethyl aminoethyl hexanoate DA-6 98%TC

DA-6 (Diethyl Aminoethyl Hexanoate) is a broad-spectrum plant growth regulator that exhibits the multifaceted functions of auxins, gibberellins, and cytokinins. It promotes plant cell division, growth, and carbon-nitrogen metabolism by increasing the content of chlorophyll, proteins, and amino acids, while simultaneously enhancing photosynthesis and boosting the activity of peroxidase and nitrate reductase within the plant. Consequently, it serves to increase crop yields and improve crop quality.

Molecular formula: C12H25NO2

Relative molecular mass:215.33

Toxic: slightly toxic

Main dosage forms

98% diethyl aminoethyl hexanoate tech, 8% diethyl aminoethyl hexanoate soluble powder, 1.6%, 2%, 3%, 5%, 8% diethyl aminoethyl hexanoate aqueous solutions

Physical and chemical properties

In its pure form, it is a colorless or light brown oily substance that is insoluble in water but miscible with organic solvents such as methanol and ethanol. Its citrate salt consists of white flaky crystals, characterized by a faint ester-like fragrance and an oily texture. It is readily soluble in water and soluble in polar solvents such as ethanol and acetone. It remains stable during storage at room temperature but is unstable at high temperatures; it is stable in acidic media but decomposes in alkaline media.

Precautions

1. The crude form of the active ingredient (DA-6) is prone to oxidation upon exposure to air; therefore, its citrate salt is typically used in agricultural production.
2. The salt formulation must not be directly mixed or applied together with alkaline solutions.
3. Store in a cool, dry place in a tightly sealed container.
