Product Performance:

This product promotes the early formation of an abscission layer at the base of cotton leaf stalks, facilitating defoliation. It causes leaves to drop before withering, thereby preventing contamination of the cotton lint by withered leaf fragments and improving cotton quality; it also facilitates both mechanical harvesting and rapid, concentrated manual harvesting.

Application Technology for Cotton

Cotton
Apply during the cotton ripening stage (two weeks prior to the early frost period or when the boll opening rate exceeds 60%). Dilute the product and spray evenly—targeting both the upper and lower leaf surfaces—at a rate of 26–32.5 g per mu. This rapidly promotes cotton ripening, accelerates leaf desiccation and abscission, and hastens boll opening and lint exposure, ultimately improving cotton quality and increasing yield.

Precautions

① The product performs best under conditions of high temperature and high humidity; the optimal air temperature for application is 20–25°C. Efficacy decreases at low temperatures, while excessively high temperatures may result in excessive activity and cause phytotoxicity.
② Stability is reduced after dilution; the mixture should be prepared immediately before use.
③ The product decomposes and loses efficacy upon contact with alkaline substances; therefore, it must not be mixed with alkaline pesticides or diluted with highly alkaline water.
④ Do not store in metal containers.
