Formulation: 15% Prohexadione-calcium + Paclobutrazol effervescent tablets (5% prohexadione-calcium + 10% paclobutrazol)
Toxicity: Low toxicity

Product Characteristics:

Prohexadione calcium inhibits gibberellic acid synthesis through absorption by seeds, roots, and foliage, resulting in dwarfing and lodging resistance in crops. Paclobutrazol is an inhibitor of endogenous gibberellin synthesis; it retards plant growth, inhibits stem elongation, and shortens internodes to produce sturdy, compact plants. The combination of the two is used to regulate rice growth.

Application on Rice

Apply as a single foliar spray 7–15 days after rice transplanting at a rate of 3–4.5 g of active ingredient per mu (after dilution). This treatment shortens basal internode length, effectively controls excessive vegetative growth, reduces lodging, and increases yield by an average of 5%.

Precautions

Application should be carried out in calm, sunny weather; if rainfall occurs within 6 hours of application, a re-spray is required.
