Formulations: 10% Paclobutrazol + Mepiquat chloride Wettable Powder (2.5% paclobutrazol + 7.5% mepiquat chloride); 20% Paclobutrazol + Mepiquat chloride Micro-emulsion (3.3% paclobutrazol + 16.7% mepiquat chloride)

Product characteristics:
Paclobutrazol functions by retarding plant growth, inhibiting stem elongation, shortening internodes, and promoting tillering. Mepiquat chloride retards vegetative growth by reducing gibberellin activity within the plant, thereby inhibiting cell elongation; this results in shorter internodes, a compact plant structure, and darker leaf color, while preventing excessive vegetative growth. The combination of the two is used to control shoot growth in peach trees.
Application on crops
Soybean
Foliar spraying with a 217–340 mg/L solution during the seedling stage or early flowering stage can shorten and strengthen the plants, improve the pod-setting rate, ensure plump seeds, and increase yield.
Peanut
Spraying the stems and leaves at the top of the plant with a 444–557 mg/L solution from the late flowering stage to the early pod-setting stage can control excessive vegetative growth, improve oil content, and increase yield.
Wheat
Whole-plant spraying with a 200–300 mg/L solution from the "one-leaf, one-heart" stage to the pre-jointing stage can effectively regulate growth. It controls the elongation of the basal internodes (1st to 3rd nodes), resulting in thick, tough stems and enhanced lodging resistance, thereby increasing yield and income.
Precautions
① Avoid soil treatment whenever possible to prevent affecting subsequent crops or polluting the environment.
② Can be mixed with common insecticides, herbicides, and fertilizers.
③ Strictly control the dosage during application to avoid growth inhibition in sensitive subsequent crops caused by paclobutrazol residues resulting from overuse.
