Application of Plant Growth Regulators for Growth Control in *Ligustrum* (Privet)

Maleic Hydrazide and Paclobutrazol
A 75% water-dispersible granule (WDG) formulation of maleic hydrazide and paclobutrazol effectively regulates the growth of *Ligustrum quihoui* (small-leaf privet). It can serve as a partial substitute for manual pruning, thereby saving significant labor and material resources. The recommended application rate is a 200–400 fold dilution (active ingredient concentration of 1875–3750 mg/L), with a spray volume of 600 L per hectare.
