Product Details
Trichoderma harzianum is a fungus belonging to the family Hypocreaceae and the genus Trichoderma. The mycelium is slender, colorless, and septate; conidiophores are lateral, opposite, or alternate; sterigmata are flask-shaped or conical; conidia are spherical with warty projections. On PDA medium, colonies initially appear as white flocculents, later turning dark green. The Trichoderma harzianum T-22 strain, through cell fusion technology combining the root colonization ability of the T95 strain and the disease control capabilities of the T12 strain, can control plant diseases caused by Pythium,Fusarium, and other fungi. It can colonize plant roots and produce compounds that stimulate plant growth and induce plant defense responses, improving the root microenvironment, enhancing plant vigor and disease resistance, and increasing crop yield and profitability.
Fomulation: 1×10⁹cfu/g, 2×10⁹cfu/g
Product features:
Competitive Effects
Trichoderma harzianum rapidly grows and reproduces in the rhizosphere (soil around the roots) and phyllosphere (leaf surface), seizing living space and significantly reducing the habitat of pathogens.
Nutritional Competition: It efficiently absorbs nutrients such as carbon, nitrogen, and iron from the soil, causing pathogens to become "starved" and unable to reproduce or infect.
Hyperparasitism
This is the most classic mode of action. Trichoderma harzianum can directly recognize, entangle, and penetrate the hyphae of pathogenic fungi.
Antibiotic Effects:
During its metabolism, Trichoderma harzianum produces various antibiotic-like substances that inhibit or kill pathogens, such as trichomycin and cymoxanil. These substances directly inhibit the germination of pathogenic spores and the growth of hyphae.
Induction of Systemic Resistance
Trichoderma harzianum can establish a symbiotic relationship with plants, activating the plant's own defense system, essentially "vaccinating" the plant. This keeps the plant in a state of "high alert" throughout its growing season, enabling it to react more quickly and strongly when actual pathogens attack.
Growth-promoting effects
Improved nutrient absorption: It can decompose insoluble elements such as phosphorus and potassium in the soil, converting them into forms that plants can absorb.
Production of growth-promoting hormones:
It can produce substances similar to plant growth hormones, such as indoleacetic acid, which stimulate root development and make plants stronger.
Improved soil structure:
Its mycelium helps to aggregate soil particles, improving soil aeration and water retention.
Applicable Crop:
Common diseases targeted for control: Root rot, wilt, damping-off, seedling blight, white mold, sclerotinia rot, gray mold (also effective against foliar gray mold).
Applicable crops:
Field crops: Rice, wheat, corn, cotton, etc.
Vegetables: Tomato, cucumber, pepper, eggplant, watermelon, melon, potato, beans, etc. (especially effective against continuous cropping obstacles).
Cash crops: Tobacco, tea, medicinal herbs, etc.
Fruit trees: Strawberry, grape, citrus, apple, etc.
Flowers and seedlings: Used for seedbed treatment, can significantly improve survival rate.
