Control the growth of mango branches to promote flowering
Application of growth regulators to control mango branch growth and promote flowering
Paclobutrazol
Ground control: After the mature leaves of the mango Erpeng shoots turn green, each "Tainong No. 1" is applied with 10-30g of paclobutrazol in the soil according to the size of its crown (1.5-3.0m canopy). The drip line is covered with soil and compacted, and combined with the leaf surface control, that is, after the two shoots are mature, spray 625mg/L paclobutrazol solution on the leaf surface, and spray once every 7 days. Tree vigor, promote mature leaves and promote flowering.
Prohexadione calcium
After the second mango shoots turned green, the whole plant was sprayed with 300mg/L prohexadione calcium solution, once every 7 days, for a total of 4 times, which could control mango shoots, reduce shoot length, and promote early flowering of mangoes.
Ethephon
From mid-October, the mango tree canopy was sprayed with ethephon concentration of 100-200mg/L for 4 times, and each time interval was 15d.
Potassium nitrate
The 10-month-old shoots of mangoes were sprayed with 1% potassium nitrate, sprayed once every 15 days, and sprayed three times in a row to induce mango flowering.
Thidiazuron
The use of thidiazuron under low temperature induced regulation can make the branches produce a large number of flower buds, and when used under high temperature regulation, a large number of leaf buds can be produced.
