Suppressing Tobacco Axillary Buds
Application of Regulators for Inhibiting Tobacco Axillary Buds
Yiyadan
In tobacco fields, the first central flower of most tobacco plants opens, top leaves when the top leaves are larger than 20cm, and destroy the axillary buds larger than 2cm. After mixing 50-60 times of water with 30.2% anti-bud Dan, spray evenly on the tobacco. On the leaf surface above the middle of the plant, the effects of inhibiting the growth of tobacco lateral buds, reducing artificial input and reducing the occurrence of diseases can be achieved. Another study has shown that 18% Yiyadan water agent 30 times liquid (the dosage per mu is 30L) is sprayed on the day after the top is capped and the fork is used. .
Flubenzamide
Also known as bud suppression, it is a special bud inhibitor for contact and partial systemic tobacco. It is suitable for bud suppression of various flue-cured and air-cured tobacco. Applying once during tobacco topping can inhibit the growth of axillary buds in the whole season, and at the same time can significantly improve the yield and quality of tobacco leaves. Tobacco flower buds should be topped in time from the elongation period to the first flowering period, and the axillary buds above 2.5 cm should be removed at the same time. The spray method is used to apply the medicine, and the dosage of the preparation is 10mg/plant. The liquid medicine should flow down from the top of the smoke in the form of a water column, so that each axillary bud is in contact with the liquid medicine.
N-octanol
It is a contact-killing tobacco germination inhibitor. After smearing with 6% to 8% n-octanol, the axillary buds will turn black in about 30 minutes, and the average axillary bud mortality rate can reach 99%. Generally, axillary buds can be eradicated with one application. Use caution, do not smear on the leaves. Because the application concentration is high, it will cause damage to the leaves. Foliar spraying 0.4% to 0.6%, the death rate of axillary buds is 89% to 95%, but phytotoxicity occurs when more than 0.8%. It is best to use it within 10 days after topping, when there is no axillary bud.
Decyl alcohol emulsion
Decyl alcohol emulsion is a contact agent, which has fast bud removal and no residual toxicity, but sometimes kills some young leaves. It destroys the nuclear membrane of developing cells in tobacco axillary buds, killing the cells. However, it has no effect on mature cells, and is ineffective on axillary buds up to 3 cm. Therefore, it is generally used after topping, diluting the decanol emulsion 30 times, 30ml per plant, and spraying it along the stem to make the liquid contact with the axillary bud cells. It should be noted that the drug is used on sunny days, and the concentration and time of the drug should be strictly controlled.
