Spraying a 1000–2000 mg/L maleic hydrazide solution during the apricot flower bud swelling stage can delay the blossom period by 3–4 days and enhance the tree's resilience, protecting over 20% of flower buds from frost; this treatment should be combined with early spring irrigation.
Daminozide
Spraying a 1500–2000 mg/L daminozide solution during the apricot flowering stage can delay the blossom period by 4–6 days.
