Treating softwood cuttings of the dwarfing sweet cherry rootstock 'Gisela 5' with 1,000 mg/L indole-3-acetic acid for 30 seconds resulted in a rooting rate of 81.25% after 60 days, with an average of 9.8 roots per cutting and an average root length of 5.2 cm.
