Gibberellic Acid
Gibberellic acid is effective in breaking seed dormancy and promoting germination in Cyclamen. Its effects vary depending on the concentration used and the specific cultivar. Treating seeds with gibberellic acid at concentrations of 10–400 mg/L for 2–4 hours promotes germination.
Indole-3-butyric Acid (IBA)
Indole-3-butyric acid enhances the germination rate, germination index, and overall seed vigor of Cyclamen, while also promoting seedling growth and development. Soaking seeds in a 20 mg/L IBA solution for 6 hours ensures a high germination rate.
