Cyclamen Growth Regulation & Compact Canopy
Application of Plant Growth Regulators During the Growth Regulation Stage of Cyclamen
Indole-3-acetic acid (IAA)
Treatment with 50–100 mg/L IAA inhibits leggy growth in *Cyclamen*, with a more pronounced inhibitory effect observed in large-flowered varieties.
Gibberellic acid (GA3)
Spraying the growing points of *Cyclamen* with a 1–50 mg/L GA3 solution during September and October promotes flower stalk elongation and flowering. Additionally, evenly applying a 10 mg/L GA3 solution to flower stalks when they reach approximately 2 cm in length—followed by a second treatment 15 days later—can also significantly promote stalk elongation.
6-BA
Treatment with 10–100 mg/L 6-BA increases the number of leaves and the total leaf area of *Cyclamen*. It significantly promotes leaf number in large- and medium-flowered varieties and leaf area in small-flowered varieties.
