Cyclamen Flowering Induction & Bloom Boost
Application of Plant Growth Regulators to Promote Flowering in Cyclamen
Gibberellic Acid (GA3)
Spray flower buds with a 10 mg/L gibberellic acid solution at a rate of 3–4 mL per plant, 50–60 days prior to the anticipated flowering time. Ensure the solution does not come into contact with the leaves, as this could cause excessive vegetative growth (legginess). A combined treatment of gibberellic acid and sodium naphthalene acetate (NAA-Na) can shorten the time to flowering by approximately 40 days; however, careful attention must be paid to water and fertilizer management before and after treatment to avoid a decline in flower quality.
Sodium Naphthalene Acetate (NAA-Na)
Foliar application of a mixture containing 150 mg/L gibberellic acid and 20 mg/L sodium naphthalene acetate can significantly increase the number of flowers and improve flowering uniformity in cyclamen.
