Chlormequat chloride CCC 
When eggplant seedlings reach the 2-leaf stage, apply a foliar spray of a 300–500 mg/L solution at a rate of 50 kg per mu. This treatment inhibits leggy growth, shortens internode spacing, promotes root system development, and enhances stress resistance. (Note: The frequency of chlormequat application should be carefully controlled; typically, a single application during the seedling stage is sufficient. Avoid repeated applications and take precautions to prevent overspraying.)
Paclobutrazol
Applying a foliar spray of 10–20 mg/L paclobutrazol when eggplant seedlings are at the 2–3 leaf stage helps to dwarf the plants and prevent leggy growth.
