Uniconazole
At the "two-leaf and one-heart" stage of pepper growth, a foliar spray application of 20–60 mg/L Uniconazole can significantly inhibit the height of sweet pepper seedlings grown in plug trays, increase stem diameter, and improve overall seedling quality.
Chlormequat Chloride (CCC)
When pepper seedlings possess two true leaves, a spray application of a 25 mg/L Chlormequat solution can induce dwarfing, control plant height, promote tillering, and prevent lodging.
Indole-3-butyric Acid (IBA) and Naphthaleneacetic Acid (NAA)
Soaking pepper seeds for 12 hours in a mixed solution containing 10 mg/L IBA and 10 mg/L NAA can significantly reduce the height of sweet pepper seedlings, increase the dry weight of the root system, enhance the root-to-shoot ratio, and boost root vitality; this effect manifests as a promotion of root growth during the early stages, followed by a promotion of above-ground growth during the later stages.
